My journey in nursing began over 25 years ago with a deep desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with patients from all levels of society, guiding them through some of their most challenging and rewarding moments. This journey has not only enriched my professional skills but has also profoundly shaped my understanding of empathy, resilience, and the human spirit.
For the past decade, I have served as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), I obtained my master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. I have been able to expand my scope of practice and deepen my relationships with patients and their families.
Recently, I embarked on a new chapter in my career by becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with my post-master’s certificate from Wilkes University. In this role, I have been dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of my patients, understanding that mental well-being is a critical component of overall health. My passion for mental health care stems from a genuine desire to provide support and healing to those struggling with mental health challenges. It has been incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact I have made on my patients’ lives.
Throughout my career, my patients have been my greatest teachers. Their courage, strength, and stories inspire me every day. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for.
I look forward to continuing to serve my community with dedication, compassion, and a relentless passion for improving the health and well-being of every individual I have the privilege to care for.
